For nearly 50 years, the team at Sport Court of Arizona has delivered quality construction, innovative products and outstanding service to our commercial and residential clients.
Founded in 1978 by Jim Fox, we have always been a local, family owned business. After retiring from a 10-year career in the NBA that included playing Center for the Phoenix Suns, Jim went from playing on courts to building them with Sport Court. Since then, Sport Court of Arizona has become Arizona’s premiere court builder, leading the way in game court building, outdoor recreation, performance sports products and surfacing.
Jim’s sons, Mike and Jimmy, grew up playing on Sport Court products and started working with their dad when they were teenagers. After college, Mike and Jimmy came to work for Sport Court of Arizona full-time and have run the business together since Jim’s retirement in 2010. Since then, they’ve led the Sport Court of Arizona team in building thousands of game courts for both residential and commercial clients, including the Phoenix Suns! We are known for our turn-key game court construction process, high quality products and a positive buying experience.
Our courts provide beautiful, fun spaces for people of all ages to be active and have fun together. From basketball, roller hockey, pickleball, hopscotch, paddle tennis, tennis, badminton, and more, our courts provide something for everyone to enjoy! Our unique non-abrasive sport surfaces are an attractive, long lasting and safer alternative to playing on concrete.
It’s our goal to create more than a game court for our customers. Our family has many great memories of both playing on and building Sport Court game courts. We love creating spaces where your family and friends can play together and create memories of your own. Our goal is to provide the most positive buying experience possible.
